New Tutorial Added
We have just added a new tutorial to our YouTube page called Mail Merge Using the Databank and Word 2003. This tutorial can be played on demand and was designed to supplement our live trainings. You can also find the sample thank you letter used in this tutorial here.
Three New Online Tutorials Added
We recently added three new tutorials to our YouTube page. The new tutorials are on Using vCard in Your Databank, New Meetings Features pt.1, and New Meetings Features pt. 2. These tutorials can be played on demand and were designed to supplement our live trainings.
Congrats to our clients involved in the 2008 election
Here are some highlights:
- Strong Schools Strong City (Minneapolis School District) passed their referendum 71% to 29%.
- Yes 281 (Robbinsdale School District) passed their referendum 55% to 45%.
- NY League of Conservation Voters-endorsed Brian Foley was elected to the 3rd State Senate District on Long Island.
- 9-5 Association of Working Women-lead Milwaukee Paid Sick Leave referendum won 69% to 39% requiring all private employers to provide full time employees 72 hours of paid sick leave per year.
- Washington Conservation Voters helped re-elect governer Chris Gregoire (D), elect Peter Goldmark as Commissioner of Public Lands, pass the Mass Transit Now bill, and defeat the anti-environment I-985.
- Education Voters saw success from many of their state chapters including pro-education candidates elected in OH, PA, and NY and the defeat of an anti-education ballot question in MA.
- OR League of Conservation Voters saw success in 6 of the 8 Legislative races they supported, pro-enviroment candidates elected to City Councils, County Commissions, and they are still waiting to hear the results of a couple close races.
- MD League of Conservation Voters is celebrating Frank Kratovil's (D) win of a seat in the House in Maryland's First Congressional District, which came after a very close race.
- Wellstone Action! saw 97 of their 200 alums running for office this year get elected.

Ten Email Templates Free
Make your e-news more compelling, by using a carefully designed, customizable email template in PowerMail. We have 10 new templates for users of thedatabank's eMarketing Software Module. All were designed to be friendly for a variety of browsers and email programs, including Outlook 2007. They also showcase what can be done with our simple HTML editor: all were created from scratch, within PowerMail, by a non-technical person. These ten templates will be made available to all new e-Marketing Software Module clients, at no charge. Existing users can get the template(s) of their choice for free, just by sending a support request indicating which ones you want.
